All Go For The Travelling Tractor !

Wow, I can hardly believe what a crazy time I have had recently. Meeting people and seeing far off places  has been muddy amazing !  From food sampling to  sightseeing and charming the girls – can it get any better ?  As you probably already know Al at Muddytrac farm made me up a special trailer –  this picture was taken some time back with my friend Barry at my local Ford dealership in Coleraine.  He probably dreams of being as good looking as me but I don’t like to disappoint him !

Anyway as I was saying things have been crazy. I know the Osmonds sang about Crazy Horses but I really do feel a bit like a Crazy Tractor – maybe I will record a song about that ! Food tasting – I’m always very partial to a wee bite you know.  This Summer I called in to the Naturally North Coast and Glens Causeway Speciality Market in Coleraine. Well I must say I  enjoyed myself – thankfully I had my trailer with me. If ever you go to the Causeway Speciality Market in Coleraine make sure you take your trailer with you as you will need it to carry home all the lovely things you are sure to buy.  I slipped in and out of the food stands getting a wee bite here and there.

So what happened next ? Well as you would expect the life of a muddy tractor is soooooo exciting – Muddyfarm Models were selected as one of the SmallBiz100 at Small Business Saturday UK so Al and I took my first ever flight for my first visit to London ! Well I couldn’t go all that way and not see the sights so here are a few pics from my trip. We also tied in with the Save The High Street Campaign. Its amazing what can be done with a trailer.

It really was a flying visit to London and I had  so many firsts – first flight to London, first ride on the Gatwick Express, first ride on the London Underground – don’t think I would fancy working down there. Then there was my first visit to Google Campus – hopefully I will be back there and my first ever Blue Tie Ball !  I didn’t meet Her Majesty The Queen on this occasion but who knows in the future.  Now I am home and it is back to work at Muddytrac Farm. My wheels have hardly touched the ground which may seem strange for a tractor.  One thing I did like about London – I didn’t see any pressure washers !  After London your friend Jake the Tractor is all set to travel the World. Offers of flights, accommodation and sponsorship offers for me and Al are welcome. If you can’t be clean – get muddy ! Talk soon.  Jake The Tractor

I know what you mean Derrick. The journey is only beginning and I sure hope to venture into many more fields soon. Small Business Saturday is such an inspiration and I would encourage small businesses throughout the UK to jump onboard !
